Some people think that there aren't four seasons in texas in fact there are hot,humid,holy cow, and hellacious.Let me describe these 
a bit...
HOTTTT........ It is pretty hot for about five to six months in Texas , in the nintys to one hundreds and even one hundred and tens in July and August. You sometimes will walk outside and be tired after about a quarter of a mile, and be dying of thirst and drenched in sweat. I have actually gotten hallucinatons walking outside before. I am not shitting you! And I was not on a buzz or a trippin.
HUMIDDDDDDD...........It gets verry humid in texas in the summer time. Especially south and southeast texas. Spend a summer in houston and you will know what i mean.I will sometimes put my makeup on in my bathroom with the fan blowing on my face, and my makeup will still ,,,,,still ,,,,,,,,,stilll sweat off.
HOLY COW.........We have a joke in texas about texas weather especially in the winter time. It will be 80 degrees one day and 20 the next. And one time in late April it actually sleeted! ANd its ussually 80 to 90 degrees in April. And everyone thinks that southern people can't drive in the snow. IT RARELY SNOWS HERE it always sleets and it is ugly ,,,,,it sleets and then it rains and the streets turn into an ice scating rink.
Hellacious...............Have you ever been in a tornado for us texans it is entertainment. I love it. People get scared when the sky turns green . But more people die from floods than they do tornados.And people do not hide in their closets when it is raining.Texans eyes light up when we hear the word tornado!
Fun FAct about texas,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Texas doesn't have basements, The soil is to rocky,yet we get lots of tornados so i think we are pretty tough.
And no not everyone wears cowboy hats
