I have the virus, ‘Hand, Foot and Mouth’!!!!!!!!!  NO it is not what the cows have. As I just explained to mum, I have hands, but cows have hooves!

It is nothing serious, but very uncomfortable, and pretty much S.H.I.T.! (Sorry for swearing, but this is a pretty good word to sum up how I feel).

I do not have the full symptoms, however, I do have spots on my hands, I have a SWOLLEN mouth and tongue. Ulcers in my mouth, and a sore throat. Accompanied by a temperature, sweating, vomiting, and ‘creme de la creme’ a BANGING HEADACHE! WHOOP WHOOP!!

Because of the ulcers and the swollen tongue, I can hardly talk, I can’t really eat, drinking is difficult, and taste isn’t too good.

This blog is also for parents of young children under the age of 10, to be aware of this virus, it is NOT serious, but it will make your child poorly and miserable, it apparently only last’s about a week. I will put a link at the bottom of the blog for you to look up.  

However, it is rare for adults or older children to be infected by this virus. SO GUESS WHICH ADULT, THE ONLY ADULT IN THE NURSERY WON THE PRIZE OF THIS DELIGHTFUL (NOT!!!!) VIRUS!!! YEP THAT WOULD BE ME... LIZZIE!!!

I went to the doctors today; the doc has signed me off for a week as it is contagious. They have also given me some gel for my ulcers, and have talked me through motions of the virus.
