I got this off a Iranian News website.A couple days ago it was Army day in Iran and some red heads got honored.Most of whom died in the Iran-Iraq war 1980-1988.



"Golzar the red headed man pictured on the left was martyred while he was at a key bridge.Taking out a Iraqi tank by rushing across the battlefield and climbing on the tank and dropping grenades in the tank , Another Iraqi tank opened fire sweeping his body with bullets but not before he knocked out one Iraqi tank and stopping the armoured column,In time for re-inforcements to move in, He was given full military honors although he was a volunteer."

I'm glad I'm not in the military now and don't have to fight anyone.

 

War is depressing.  I think people are being turned against each other for no good reason half the time.
