Growing up I got teased all the time by both boys and girls about my hair and skin, even in Ireland!!!! As I am suer alot of you on this site have.
After a few years the girls told me they wanted the hair colour and the guys started to take a shine to me, but it really was years of bullying over it and I honestly couldnt see why people liked red heads and pale skin....
For so long I was told it was ugly and weird to be this way, that I was ugly and weird being this way which was so unfair its not something i could control!!
I was depressed for so long, but after joining this site it really has shown me not only are we ordinary but we are extra ordinary. Red Heads do rock and for the 1st time in my life I couldnt be more proud to be who I am

Yeah that happened to me. I grew up in Dublin where there's loads, but still got bullied tons. Still am like, but I learnt ages ago that my hair is awesome and that most of the girls were just jealous |

Since I've joined this site, I've felt better about myself.. I wasn't overly teased or anything but people still weren't the greatest. This site is amazing. The people here are awesome as well.  |

It's unfortunate that people feel compelled to tease redheads on account of their own jealousy :P I came to my senses long ago and realized redheads are the most gorgeous of all. Needless to say, I've been a very happy man ever since I found this site.

i admit to being bullied teased at school for being a redhead,but ive never hated myself for who i am i now see hope for all redheads now and we can all stand up with one voice.and all those non redheads that respect us you are our freinds too.
