COLOR is a very powerful choice when it comes to art. I have often wondered, as an artist, what factors and emotions discern an artists decision to choose the race, clothes, and especially hair color of their subject. K, so I received a VERY mysterious check via FedEx the other day. A check from some weird college accredidation place, right? In the amount of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. So of course I'm completely baffled and pretty sure it's some marketing ploy. Except, well, it's been FedExed, and it says "original document" on it, and it's drawn on a real bank. ..that I'm not meant to be a photographically accurate painter. That is, I'm gonna stop worrying about my proportion issues. I figure as long as the expression is there, and a little emotion, and if you can kinda tell who it is, then that's gonna be fine. Hills told me awhile ago to join Art Wanted, and I did, last night.
