Snow and Ice

It's only December and between the last few snow storms, there has to be over 2 feet of snow on the ground.  The snow is pretty and all, we just need time inbetween storms. I just came in from using a roof shovel because I fear the roof will cave in on the garage because the garage roof is made with trusses so that there is not any poles in the garage.  I used it on the house, garage, and shed.  Unfortunately with it, I can only reach up maybe 10-12 feet.  I hope the sun gets warm enough today to melt more of it now that I have some of the shingles exposed.  I'd hate t have the garage roof cave in because I have 4 of my cars inside of it.

A Rite Aid store had their roof collapse not too far away from me, so I figured I better attempt to get some of the snow off. There must be at least 2 feet in some spots.

We have 5 cars right now, down from 6 a year ago.  3 of the cars are only driven in the summer, so they are squished into a 2 car garage along with the pickup truck. Unfortunately the Mustang is outside because there's no more room.

That's a scary thought, Donna, the caving in.

During one of our blizzards last year, many businesses (including a HUGE Michael's store) were severely damaged and shut down for awhile because of roof cave ins cuz of the weight of the snow.

And excuse me? FOUR of your cars? How many do you have?
