I can't believe Rush are still going, I used to listen to them all the time back in the early eighties, and I should have recognised Neil Peart

Me Too!  I can do it fairly well between snare and floor right.  But not across to the other drums.  Of course, I have only been playing drums for 6 months.

Lol, just from the title I knew it had to be about Rush.

I saw Rush on their 30th anniversary tour a few years ago.... that was awesome

Neil Peart (Like kneel down to one of the best drummers of all time) Rush is on tour through July! Everyone should go see them, who knows if and when they will tour again. Right on Casper educating the people!

One of the important things about a drum solo is keeping a tempo, and not do - to paraphrase Mark Knopfler - Bang on the bongos like a chimpanzee. Ian Pace was very good at that 30 years ago, and I'm glad to see the tradition of great percussionists is still going strong. And I loved the segue into swing at the end of the solo.

Thank you for sharing, Casper, if you have any more I'd love to hear them.

I'm not a musician and I don't know who he is, but WOW, man.

Just, wow.
