Today was my "interview" with that temp agency and though I think I kinda aced the "interview" part of it, I pretty much tanked the test.
I thought I'd be testing on Photoshop, creating graphics for web, but my interviewer dude had me set up for Dreamweaver.
And I just couldn't get the sodding style sheets to work at first.
Then I started spinning (my mind, not, like, in the chair or anything) and started renaming the sheet over and over and then I got a little flustered-er.
I got 2 of the 3 pages done and linked, and the testy lady DID say that hardly anyone finishes, but yeah, I'm pretty sure I sewered it.
They have to inexplicably "send" the test "off" to be graded so I don't know for sure how I did.
Yeah, actually I do. I tanked the bitch.
Anyway, going back on Thursday to do the InDesign and either Illustrator or Photoshop tests, and sign the paper work (I love how they talk about paperwork before you've even passed the tests; cuz if you fail, you have to wait THREE MONTHS to take them again and you cannot be put up for assignments until you pass, so how "get your hopes up-y" is THAT?).
Oh, yes, and the interviewer dude intro'd me around the office as "a great graphic designer who'll be doing work for us."
Ya know? That's gonna make it 20 BILLION or so times worse if I eff up the other tests.
So we, as always, shall see.
Little Mary Fu.cking Sunshine, signing off.
