Hey! Its ok, you can come and ramble to me anytime! I enjoy having someone to chat with. I don't think you are crazy at all for wanting to have foster kids. I think that is a GREAT thing. I have thought about it also. I would have to have a younger one as well. I know exactly what you mean about having a older one come in and having bad things happen. I would be very leary about that as well. I know some people that have foster kids and I think they really enjoyed it! It takes alot of patience and understanding I am sure!

I was watching the news about the weather too and yea that is so scary stuff. My brother is a storm chaser and I like to do it too. I have seen and taken pictures and video of several tornadoes in my time of chasing. It is an adrenaline rush that is for sure. We are very careful, but when you do things like that you never know what is going to happen because anything can change in a split second!

My hubby also got a raise at the end of the year. He is on salary and it he got a $200 a month raise, which is awesome for us! I am going to go look for part time work. I'm thinking of applying at the nursing home and doing laundry or something like that. I need day work and no weekends. I know, thats asking alot but my husband works every other weekend and I don't want to work the weekends that he has off. Then we would wouldn't be able to spend any family time together.

Besides I know that he is terrible about house work. I will still be left doing all that as well. I don't let him tocuh the laundry because his idea of that is throwing everything in one load and then the whites are no longer white! MEN!

Hey, that is funny that you stopped by because I was just thinking to myself that it had been awhile since I had stopped by and chatted with you!

I hope that you had a great christmas and a Happy new year! Things have been pretty good here. I have been keeping busy with the kids. I was actually a little sad to see then go back to school, but it was time for them to go back. I am not going through things and packing all the christmas stuff away and all of that.

Kids got alot of nice things for christmas. New years was spent at home with a couple of friends over. We just don't go out on New Years anymore. I like to drink occasionally and so does my hubby, but I would rather be safe at home doing it!

Well I better get back to putting everything back in its place after taking down the tree. The living room is a bit of a mess of christmas things!

WOW, that is awesome! I need a upgraded wedding ring. I got a beautiful necklace! I love it!

Oh I know I love fudge too. I had a few pieces at my grandmas the other day. I have to say I think I did fairly well with everything that I ate over the holidays though!

I'm still thinking on the whole shopping thing. I do not to go pick up a few things of my own, but I don't know!

I do hope that you had a verry merry christmas. The kids were wanting me to take then to walmart today so that they could use there gift cards that they got. I think we are going to wait til tomorrrow. I don't know if I want to brave the crowd yet today!
