I'm a natural redhead that is slowly going gray. I used to hate my red hair, but now I want to keep it as long as possible. I have long natural curly hair and amber colored eyes. I like to walk at least 4-5 days a week. On a typical day, I walk 3-4 miles, usually getting in at least 15-20 miles of walking a week. Walking helps to clear my mind and maintain my weight. I'm interested in health related topics, especially hypothyroidism. I try to help others with this conditions whenever I can. Far too many doctors don't know how to treat the condition so that the person is symptom free. I found the old method using natural thyroid hormones that has been around for 100+ years is the best method of treatment. I am on Armour thyroid for my underactive thyroid and I'd never go back to the synthetic medications. What I found weird about hypothyroidism, is that redheads are more prone to developing the condition. That's one downside of being a redhead, so if you experience symptoms like weight gain, fatigue, hairloss, depression, constipation, and muscle and joint aches....get your thyroid tested. I have 1 grown married daughter and 1 grandson who live about 90 minutes away. I love old cars, as well as some new cars. My current old car is a 1971 Chevelle Malibu, which I have owned since 1984. It used to be lime green, but now its red. Some day I hope to own a 1968 Dodge Charger. The Charger is my dream car. In 2004, I got my grandmothers car when she passed on in 2004....a 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. My grandmother loved this car, probably because most people were shocked an elderly women was driving it. She'd kill me for saying elderly, but how else do you describe a women in her 90's. Some day I'd like to have it repainted, so it looks like new again. I'm on the shy side in person, but once I get to know people I am far from shy. I am the person who always listens without judging....always trying to help.

honest and caring people,

rude people, spam, liars, telemarketers, inconsiderate people,

walking, flea markets, classic cars, bird watching, dragonflies, helping others with hypothyroidism

Hey there, Donnebrook Farm (I'm so sorry, I don't know where this stuff comes from and just know that I need sleep)!

I haven't heard from you for awhile, and you're a little behind on your blogs (heehee) and so I thought I'd stop by and say hi and how are you?

And also I miss you, and hope to catch up with you soon.

Byefor now

I have found the perfect color for my grey, like you I had three different shades of red. Try using Nice and Easy No 111 then for touchups use the same brand with the small brush  Read the box for the 111 number I tried the 6R  but it is just a shade darker so now Iam going to find the next one closer to the 111. Right now it is the same color as it was when I was 19 and Mom says it looks great.

i really like that idea. i'm not a easy girl to get with..as i've been told. i just don't like learning these painful lessons already. i want to skip the heartbreak and just be like 25 and get married and have little cute redheaded children and be happily ever after. the end.

oh how i wish it were simpler.  thanks for the advice though. i am going to use that. and awesome movie taste. i love the movie braveheart and dragonfly.

HI donna! Long time no talk!! How have you been? DO you have a lot of snow on the ground? We are suppose to get another 2-4 inches tonight and tomorrow.

Other than that I have been tired and I need a good nights sleep!

well kinda, we are doing our own thing right now until he decides what the hell it is that he wants to do-but I'm done.  I can't take it anymore.  He's so afraid that I was going to leave after the surgery that he left first, and I had no intention. It's his loss. But he'll be back and it will be too late.
